    Wang Lung changes, Napoleon doesn't.

Wang Lung starts out with one perspective, that life should be this way, but then his circumstances change and so does his perspective. At first he's just excited to have a wife, then for children. Then as he needs to provide for his family, he ends up leaving his land and is forced to learn new things and gain new perspective. Later, he has to be clever with his uncle in order to keep his family and land safe, and even decides that he's good enough for a more lavish lifestyle, polygamy and all. If you compare his situation at the beginning of the book, and his attitude at the end, you can tell that the Wang Lung then is very different from the Wang Lung Now. You could do all sorts of comparisons in an essay.

Napoleon, though his tactics change, is opinions and perspective never do. He always thinks he's better than all the other animals, and you can find evidence of his pigheadedness (pun intended) even before his hostile takeover.
