Hiptop slide web browser not working?

I have a Telstra Hiptop Slide, and my web browser isnt working. I can connect and talk on msn, but when i type an adress in on the web browser, the little clock picture appears and a little bubble comes up the top saying 'Network Unavailable', even though the G7 thing is there, AND msn is working,
It's happening to my friends hiptop aswell.
Does anyone know if its something do to with telstra?

It is happening to everyones hiptops in the world at the moment and no one, not even telstra knows when it will be back online. They are the worst phone ever, i'm going to get rid of it as soon as i can. Piece of craap phone.

hey dis is wat you gonna need to do take out ur sims card.............. power it bck on and go thru dis press #1, #0, and @..............at the same time..................and it will read saving data...........but before doing this please save all contacts n pictures............and everything...........okay when the screen goes black..................hold down the r button until you see the 4 lil symbols on the screen during start up and it should reset your data connection...............plus i hope you remember your password bc it will be a lot quicker to reregister your acct.........

My friend told me that in the U.S their whole sidekick (american hiptop) Server crashed, and everyone's been told not to turn them off or let them go flat, otherwise everything stored on them will be lost!

You dont have to do a soft reset which is ^1@ or whatever just wait itll be back in no time

oh phew, thought it was just me
strange there isn't that much documentation / reports that i can see
it's very annoying but maybe it'll stop my net addiction, haha, and my battery won't run out so fast
they're insanely faulty but brilliant phones
i will wait it out in the spirit of true technological love!
