    +10. Why has our civilization become less and less MORAL over the years ?

    It's clear that we are beginning to lack in values/morals that used to be more prevalent in the past. I feel that this is an effect of rampant individualism along with the great vacuum left by scientific materialism when it replaced religion as the main mode of thought. Thus "anything physically pleasurable is good." I, however, do not abide by this philosophy.

    what are your thoughts as to why our society has become less and less inclined to hold core values/morals and restraints?

    people, in general, are a bunch of self serving jerks that only look out for number one. As population increases so too does the douchebaggery that is humanity.
