    Can I switch from Fido to Virgin Mobile?

    I heard that Virgin Mobile can switch your number/ sim card to a Virgin Mobile account for free.
    I currently use Fido, and I want to switch over to Virgin Mobile- but will there be a charge from Fido?
    Moreover, will Fido suspend my account if they know I've switched out?
    I tried calling Fido's customer service but all the electronic voices made me want to smash my phone.
