I have about 8 weeks to train myself for my school's sports day. I'm a girl and a high school senior. I have always won 1st place in 100m but this year I plan to break the school's record in 100m. Well, I haven't been running for a long time now. I have just started running for 20 minutes yesterday to get back in shape.

Please help me design my 8 weeks training plan. I really need to improve my 100m time. I only want to train on Mondays, Thursdays & Saturdays since I am very busy on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

So, on which day should I work on endurance? What about speed exercises/workouts? Should I do Fartlek? Dynamic stretches, warm-ups etc
