okay ive seen all the videos and ive seen this and that.
like
enter sim pin on start up.
then cancel the special code
then goto sim and change sim
welll theres my problem like ive seen when they change the sim this screen "waiting for activation" shows up and then they press menu L ...well that "waiting for activation" screen never shows up on mine =[
i have the at&t sim in there ...and i follow the steps but i think my problem is that screen doesnt show up . the sidekick 2008 is brand new basically and yeah ....any ideas or anything? i dont wanna buy a unlock code because im only using the phone for like 2 weeks...but someone please tell me im like irratated along with that stupid elevator glitch iin mw2 LOL.... thanks in advance XD

Why don't you just call T-mobile and request the unlock code from them? If you're not with T-mobile, find a friend who is and have them request it for you. All they need is the phone's IMEI number.
