Why isn't Telus Mobility getting regular phones anymore?

I've noticed that only 3G+ phones and smartphones have only come out, but no regular PCS phones. Why is that?

because PCS is old technology there gunna have a few more phone that come out on the old CDMA network, then everything is gunna to go to the 3G+ HSPA+ network. they are moving away from PCS because it is old technology that telus is planning to get rid of eventually. for me i want to get onto the HSPA network because then you can use any phone since it uses SIM cards, thank you telus. for once.
