Can you use an AT&T phone with an T-Mobile Simcard?

My family had an T-Mobile plan but I really like this phone from AT&T. Can you use the simcard from T-Mobile and put it in an AT&T Phone? And I also heard something about unlocking and if you unlock something, you can't text. Is that true about the not texting?

NO you can't use t-mobile sim in your phone until you unlock it from AT&T network provider ...You can easily unlock the phone through online providers like ProUnlocking.com they are rendering network unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost .You first check that whether the code is available for your mobile model ,country and network provider ...If yes then pay for it and unlock the phone then freely use it with any GSM sim ...
