    What is a 1975(?) Yamaha N-500 acoustic guitar made out of? What is it worth? Made

    in Japan.? Is it a nice guitar?

    I think it is older than 1975 but it is made at the custom yamaha shop in Japan, before production was moved to taiwan. This was a high end guitar, retailing at $600 in 1970-75 there aren't many in the states. My dad worked at Fender Guitar in the early 70's and bought one at an employee sale. It is fairly large, and was a signature model of a Japanese guitarist at the time.. You can see the signature on the inside label.. The label is very different from any Yamaha Labels you see on $250 range. I was given specs by someone but not sure if they are correct. Its on ebay. Check it out.
