Reality is that agriculture needed civilization, a civil set of rules needed to protect the work that people did to produce food.

Because civilization was needed, civilization had to be created to support agriculture. It is not merely that agriculture permitted civilization, agriculture had to have civilization. Necessity then drove the development of civilization.

At ancient time people used to eat whatever they found as hunters and gathers, later they want to stay in a same place and started to grow crops for their food -this is so called Agriculture which was the basis for the first and foremost civilization called "Indus civilization"and many other civilizations in the world.
so without agriculture nothing will happen/function in this world.

    1. It allowed people to settle in one location and build the first cities because they no longer were forced to migrate with the food sources.

    2. It allows people to pursue vocations other than farming. Without agriculture and the advancements of modern agriculture, then we would have fewer doctors, lawyers, scientists, factory workers etc etc, because those people would have to spend their time gathering their own food.

    3. It provides a higher quality meal which has improved the health of everyone.

    4. It provides a major source of export trade which allows that country to use that money to expand.

    5. It provides multiple benefits besides just food, for example clothing and medicine.
