Why do i keep blowing my L7 15" Kicker on my Hifonics 1610 Brutus amp?

I have a SOLObaric L7 15"KICKER and a Hifonics 1610 Brutus amp...it is wired parallel and also bridged....this is the second time it has blown...whats the problem?

    concern #1
    Mono amps aren't bridgeable.

    Concern #2
    You have a 1500w amp and a 1000w speaker.
If the sub's a dual 2 wired for 1 ohm and you're not well informed on the use of a level/gain control and bass boost you have a formula for disaster.

Enclosure size and type can be a big factor as well.

Is it a dual 2 or dual 4?
Where is your level dial set at? How much bass boost are you using?
Also what's the brand and model of your head unit?
