I have 18 months left on my telus contract and I would like to upgrade to a blackberry bold 9700. They won't let me because it is way too early for me to be eligible for an upgrade. I was thinking of terminating my contract and go with rogers but I would have to pay 360$ to terminate my contract. I did some research and came across the "Material Adverse Clause" which states that if they make a change in the contract (which they did...increased the long distance rate from 0.30 to 0.35$) I have 30 days to decide if I agree with it or not. I highly doubt that using that clause will allow me to terminate my contract. Is there anything I could do or say to terminate my contract without paying a fee and not waiting?
