Can you believe McCain would rather do his job as senator than campaign and debate?

It's not like we're facing a crisis or being asked to pony up seven billion dollars.

Wasn't he elected to run for president? Obama knows that running for president is his job, not being a senator from Illinois!

No, McCain lied about being a hero, he has been a traitor his whole life. He has had women support him. His convention was going to be a diasater when people saw how empty it was cause most republicans hate his guts. So he made a big deal out of the storm & acted like others didn't come because of that. This man isn't fit for anything except a nursing home.

McCain, who has openly stated that he knows nothing about the economy is all of a sudden concerned with the economy? Just a couple of weeks ago, he was stating that the economy was fundamentally strong.

Are you sure this is the man you want to fix our crises?

Can you believe it, John McCain actually cares about America. And that loser Obama is saying it was all his idea. I really don't care who's idea it was, just fix it. So that us Americans don't have to pay an additional $10,000 in taxes. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.

LOL. You just bought a bridge. Either senator can arrange to be in Washington for a vote, they actually know when their scheduled and Mr. 7 houses can actually afford air fair

Half the Obama crowd are claiming Obama had the idea first, and half are claiming McCain's a coward.

    1/2 + 1/2 = Obama's a coward

They are both dodging the debates. They are playing a game of chess. One slip-up in a debate could lose you the election. Who would want to go through that? Neither one of them are any good at it so it will either be very boring or very entertaining.

I don't know...McCain is the one who said the fundamentals of the economy are sound, so there CAN'T be a crisis, right? I mean, unless McCain is an idiot that doesn't know what he's talking about.
And its so odd that McCain would want to suddenly return to Congress NOW, since the economy is doing so well and considering the fact he hasn't been there since MARCH. It couldn't have ANYTHING to do with the fact that he is woefully unprepared to debate Obama in an event that wouldn't occur until well after the senate recessed for the night. It MUST be that suddenly, he has discovered some magical solution to the financial crisis that can ONLY be revealed during the hours that the debate would be held. Yeah...that must be it.

McCain is just trying to get brownie points since the economy is hurting his status in the polls.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, I mean he is trying to win but.............C'mon man you had to know that.
