I need to unlock my HTC Droid Eris without an gmail and password?

I typed the incorrect screen unlock on my phone too many times to the point where I need to enter my phone's gmail and password. I don't know this information because the guy at Verizon that sold me the phone did it for me. Is there any way I can unlock my phone without entering the email and password required to unlock?

No you must enter the Gmail address.. Sorry.. You can try going through Gmail and using the "Forgot Username" link, but if that doesnt work, you will have to wipe the phone and set it up all over again..
