How can I save this MIDI file to iTunes?

I downloaded a classical song in MIDI format. iTunes won't open it, the audio program I downloaded won't record it so I can save it elsewhere, and I need to get it onto my iPod stat! Someone please tell me what I can do about this.

I was thinking of trying to record it with some other program in a format iTunes would be able to open, but I don't have a microphone or anything to record it through. What program can record sound just by playing it through the speakers so I can save it to iTunes?
    Thanks!
How do I convert it to an MP3?
When I open it in Quicktime, it plays it obscenely sped up, for some reason. If I manage to slow it down, how do I record it?

don't record it back in to your computer, try to use a program to convert it to a file format itunes recognizes. I usually use quicktime to convert weird files to mp3/aiff, etc. and then import to itunes.
