Thread: Yahoo email SPAM button? Does it even do anything?

For atleast 6 or 7 months I have been "spamming" 20 to 30 emails containing sexual obsenities everyday, until one day I realized, nothing is changing. It seems that the same senders are sending and the same amount of emails are being sent. Is there a point to using this button?

IMHO Yahoos spam button is about like Office Depots Easy button. Worthless. Yahoo seems to be on hard times. They cant even update Yahoo questions very often.

No hits on Yahoo!, but that button sure wasted my time, it seems that I will get the same spam, only from different addresses. I guess they're auto generated. I wonder if Yahoo! has, or will ever implement the option for users to request that senders enter a capcha (you know, the letters and numbers on acid, lol) before an e-mail is sent, unless the sender is from a certified site, or is chosen by us as legit.

I think it tries to block the subject line if its the same.

If you can, maybe you should open it up, close your eyes and scroll to the bottom and see if you can unsuscribe or something.
