Thread: What amp for 2 JL Audio 8W1v2-4 8" Subs?

I was curious as to what brand and size of amp I should get for 2 of these JL 8" Subs I am replacing the MTX 8" Road Thunder subs I currently have now not sure which amp to get. Something Decent but Not too expensive; thats why I didnt get expensive speakers because I dont need anything extravagent since I dont have that much room in my Truck. Just wanna make them sound good without blowing them or underpowering them.

Small monoblock amp at 300W RMS at 2 ohm will run those JL W1's just fine.

Typical good examples ... JL 250/1, Rockford Fosgate Punch 300-1, Kicker ZX300.1.
