Thread: thinking of buying a Honda or Suzuki dual sport bike.?

im 19yrs old im about 5'8 and weigh about 180 pounds. Ive been riding for a few months now on my 1983 Honda xl 185 and on my friends 1992 wr 200, so im comfortable enough with riding to take it to the streets. i'd say i would be riding 50-50 street to dirt, if not then on the street a bit more. but i was looking into the 2008 Honda crf 230L or the 2009 Suzuki dr 200se. any ideas or info or help would be greatly appreciated. i love honda and want the 230l so bad, but i like the zuki b/c its a 5 speed, and i dont think i want a 6 speed. again any help would be great. thanks guys.
just now looking into the 2009 Suzuki DR-Z400S. im leaning more towards the suzuki 400 rather then the 200. also still leaning more towards suzuki rather then honda because of the 5 speed transmission.
one more bike to add to the list. 2008/9 Yamaha xt250.
the question is, which bike should i choose?

buy the suzuki drz400s. buy a 400cc or bigger trial bike. definitely not smaller than 250cc.
