Thread: ¿TV tuner problem, I can´t use my vcr/dvd?

I recently bought the toshiba D-VR610KU dvd/vcr combo but I have big problem. It says that the unit doesn´t include a tv turner and that I need one in order to record tv programs. I don´t know what a tv turner is exactly so can somebody explain to me? Currently in my country there is only analog signla for tv so can somedoby recomend me a good tv tuner for my vcr/dvd combo?

The tuner basically allows you to transfer your recordings from the television to your DVD player.

The VCR should still record perfectly normal.

The only way to get the "tuner" would be to upgrade your DVD/VCR Combo player with a tuner built into it.

The last time I worked at Best Buy about a year ago, they sold specific DVD/VCR combos that had the built in tuners, so you should be able to pick on up there.
