Ok, so I've been playing games since I was 5 (18 now) and really want/need to stop playing. My parents originally bought an N64 just to keep my occupied when I was little. But now I've noticed that I spend all of my time playing games. It's almost a need. Everyday, I get home at 3 and play until 11, which is when I go to sleep. On weekends, that's what I do from whenever I wake up, till 4am the next day. If I can't play for some reason, I get bored to the point where the only thing that I can think to do is sleep. It's interfering with my school work heavily, and I want to do other things, I just don't know what they are. My parents won't let me just sell my xbox because they paid for it, and I don't think they've made the connection between videogames and me failing classes/staying in my room all day. Any tips?
