Why is my car still overheating?

The mechanic told me that I had a cracked radiator which was causing the engine to overheat. I then replaced the radiator with a brand new one. The problem is I still have an engine that keeps overheating. I can't find a leak anywhere and I don't think there's a problem with the waterpump. Is it perhaps that my thermostat is broken?
