Some Quick Pre-Algebra questions?

So basically get the y on the left hand side and the x's and other constants on the other side.
The slope will be the number in front of x so
2x+y=1 ----> y=-2x+1 which has a slope of -2

x+y=1 ------> y=-x+1 which has a slope of -1

4x-y=9 ----> -y=-4x+9 but we need to multiple each side by a neg sign because y is neg. so it changes to y=4x-9 and the slope is 4

how to figure out
2x+y=1

x+y=5

4x-y=9

please help me on them .
i get confused with signs & don't know which numbers to add/subtract.

y=-2x+1
y=-x+5
y=4x-9

The slope intercept form is: y= mx+b
In these cases: y= -2x+1
the slope of the line is: -2(m)
and the y intercept would be: 1 (b)
in case 2: y= -x+5
slope: -1
y- intercept: 5

case 3: -y=-9+4 So the negative sign will multiply the other signs(at the other side of the equation like if you are dividing all the numbers by negative 1) to make y positive so the equation would be:
y= 4x-9
slope: 4
y- intercept: -9

To put them in Slope intercept form you have to get the Y on a side by itself

y=-2x+1

y=-x+5

y=4x-9
