    Renting a bicycle at a local Bike shop costs $30 for the first day and $10 for

    each additional day. ? Create a chart of values and write an equation to find the total cost, C in terms of the number of days d.
    Use the equation you created in part a to find the cost of renting a bike for 5 days

    this is so easy
    first of all the equation is

    C = 30 + 10d

    because 30 is a one time payment and 10d is how much it costs for each day you rent the bike.

    to do the chart of values, just do

    d | C
    _____

    1 | 40
    2 | 50
    3 | 60
    4 | 70
    5 | 80

    jus substitute in each numerical value for "d" into the equation to get your C

    and just subsitute in 5 for d and you should get

    C = 30 + 10(5)

    C= 30 + 50

    C=80 and that's your final answer
