Kyocera is a brand that makes cell phones, it isn't 'a' cell phone. Which Kyocera phone do you have?
I think most Kyocera phones are CDMA, so your phone won't take/ use a SIM (GSM). Sorry.

no it doesn't. Its carrier is Virgin Mobile which is a CDMA carrier. Sprint, Verizon, and other CDMA carriers all do not use Sim Cards.
