Bought a computer with windows 7 64-bit pre-installed and many apps dont work....

i think firefox has a 64-bit edition, but a 64 bit OS will run 32 bit programs flawlessly unless there's a different, major, problem, take it to get fix, tell them you ordered it off their website, maybe they'll do it for free, just bring proof u ordered it from them, but stick with the 64 bit

...Please help? I bought it from best buy's website and i knew that there werent a whole lot of 64 bit applications but it was a great deal (pc and monitor for $500) so i felt the need to get it.
Anyways
i cant find any apps that work well with 64 bit windows 7
im looking for a torrent app, something in place of itunes, and a web browser that is 64 bit compatible.
right now i cant listen to music, google chrome is extremely laggy and slow, cant use IE which was pre-installed, and cant use WMP; also preinstalled

any suggestions??

Bring your computer back to best buy, this isn't normal! You can still run 32 bit programs on a 64 bit OS.
