I have a new model Acer Aspire 4810 laptop which has an HDMI port. When i connect it to my Proscan HDMI port, nothing happens. The part im confused about is because one HDMI port on the TV is connected to the cablevision with no problem and i have connected my laptop via HDMI to other TV's and it works right away. For some reason, my Proscan tv will not pick it up and it just keeps a "NO SIGNAL" sign on the tv. Any ideas?

GuestDid you hit the source button and switch the setting to HDMI?
