    (atheists) Do you think the universe is similar to a single cell?

    This is pure imaginative thinking mind you, but it is interesting to wonder if the universe is like a single cell, and the multiverse is a collection of cells. maybe it is making up something resembling an "organism,"within a megaverse. What if the laws of physics are not as basic as cause and effect, but other variables are involved, outside of this universe. The slight imperfections that was essential to the formation of our own universe may have been the result of the conditions outside of the universe, or if universes give rise to other universes, there may be something like a "genetic code" that is passed that determines how a universe will form.like the cells in our bodies, universes could come in kinds, specialized for some "biological" function.
    I think what preceded all universes, or anything else, would have been more simple than a first universe, but something that over time gave rise to one, but things became more elaborate than just this single universe
