Sanyo Incognito Brightness Display?

I have a Sanyo Incognito cell phone from Boost Mobile. I have a problem of seeing the outside display of keys when I am outside in direct sunlight since it is a touch sensitive keypad. The numbers are so dim when outside. I sometimes would have to dial using the inside qwerty keypad which is great. I tried going into settings, display and brightness but this only works for the inside display and not the exterior. Does anyone know how to adjust and make the exterior keys brighter for the touch sensitive keypad when you are outside ?

i have the same problem with my cell to is just because of the LCD screen the sun effects it try going to profile and change it to out side mode that should help.
