my iMac has very slow wireless internet?

I have bought the iMac very recently and i find that the internet is very slow and rarely doen't work at all. When i turn on my old laptop (not mac) it works fine. I was wondering why my internet is very slow? I have the wireless mouse and keyboard and my internet is wireless. My mums internet on her laptop works fine too..

i had this problem on my mac, then i just reset the internet, go into your browser and click the first tab at the top and you will see reset.
