well it is a 11 year old car, so it must be a little used by now, my friend has an old Mitsubishi and it has about 200000 miles and the only reason it loses power is because the a/c is on, so when he is in a complete stop he has to turn of his a/c and when he is on a decent speed he turns it back on, this happens because engines get tired and the pistons them selves get old, you can take it and do a tune up on the car, but try turning to a/c off and maybe that will help
