The answer is no. With Boost Mobile you have to choose which version of network you want to use. IDEN network includes a sim card with walkie talkie feature. There are a lot of phones to choose from with Boost Mobile IDEN network.

With CDMA there are only a few models: Sanyo Icognito, Sanyo Mirro, and Blackberry. With the CDMA version there are no sim cards and no walkie talkie. However CDMA version has better coverage and more reliable than IDEN version.

You will not be able to purchase a IDEN cell phone and use it on CDMA. Either a Boost CDMA cell phone or Boost Mobile IDEN.

For Boost Mobile, can you use a iDEN phone when you're using CDMA Boost Mobile or not?

I've been interested in getting Boost Mobile and was told that CDMA Boost Mobile is better than iDEN. Soooooo... I wasn't sure if you can use the type of service with a phone from a different series. I don't think it would matter, but I'm just checking lol.
