How aware are people when it comes to GM foods?

I saw this one video and there was this small 10 minute sections where they had this group of Americans and they asked each of them if the ate GM foods. Most of them said no, not at all but when they listed down all the foods they had for breakfast, the majority of them actually do eat GM food without knowing it. Now my question is, what are the statistics are on how aware Americans are with whether or not they are eating GM foods.

well i think most of us eat it because we dont care or dont even know about genetically modified food however i try to stay away from it as much as possible.
