Will the iPhone 4 be out on Vodafone Pay As You Go?

iPhone 4 is coming to Vodafone UK - but even Vodafone themselves are unsure!

You can register your interest for an iPhone 4 on their website and their will send your email on any new updates/information on the iPhone 4!

I'm thinking of upgrading my 3GS to the 4 when it comes out, but don't want to jailbreak it, or risk breaking it unlocking it. Will it be out on Pay As You Go on Vodafone? Or am I just going to have to wait a year until my contract expires (Which I don't really want to do..)
