How important is it to have a set gym routine?

I go to the gym, but I just like to do whatever I feel like doing.
I guess it's pretty much a routine because I do similar exercises... but is it very crucial to have exercises and exact sets and reps decided etc?

well if u look like u do in that picture then it dont matter, but if you wanna stay fit then it would probably be best to set a routine, and it doesnt have to be every day, maybe a few days a week, set a certain hour or so every few days and you should be fine depending on what you do. running is definetly best to keep up your cardio and keep you in shape, id know, im a wrestler =]
