Olympic athlete Marion Jones was on Oprah today for her first interview since being released from jail for lying to prosecutors investigating the use of performance-enhancing substances. For years, Marion maintained that she did not use steroids, and was even accused of —and successfully defended against — using performance-enhancing drugs back in high school. But in October 2007, she plead guilty to lying, and was subsequently stripped of every Olympic medal and time record she'd earned. Today, she told Oprah that she didn't realize she'd been taking drugs, thinking they were merely supplements, until she was in the room with the prosecutors and they showed her a vial of "The Clear". Knowing what we know now about the case, it seems like she's still fudging the truth about what happened, and about her awareness of what was going on.
