Have heard that the Rogers 4000 sim cards do not work well with Nokia phones or phones older than 1 year?

Does anyone know if that is true? We will be traveling to Canada from U.S. & plan to purchase a sim card so we can use our Nokia 6010 in Canada. Will the current 4000 card work OK or should we look for the older 3040 on eBay? Thanks!

Not true. The new series of SIM cards was released to improve compatibility with the new Hi-speed (HSPA) data network, however both the new and old SIM card versions are fully compatible with all models of equipment (provided the phone is unlocked or locked to Rogers of course).
