i used to watch this cartoon on the weekends about this kid that had a yellow robot named beemon (sounds like digimon, i know. but im sure that was his name) and the robot could change different parts of his body with other robots and gain different abilities.
plz help. i've been looking online and all i can find are digimon articles.

It sounds like the anime "Metabots". The yellow robot's name is Metabee.
