Thread: I never see maggie in the simpsons anymore! What happened to her?

I never see her..maybe only for 1 or 2 background scenes but there is seriously no story anymore in the simpsons that I can think of that includes her. The closest would be when Homer was trying to be a good father and maggie got lost at sea or something...and that was one of the old episodes.

Because she has a non-speaking role, the plot has to revolve "around" her without her giving too much involvement. I imagine it's difficult to write a funny script such as that, so they try to keep her in the background.

One of the more recent ones with maggie in it is when the kids on the playground are being mean to her. (And yes! My name is also maggie! =D)
