Floveleyton Pick a topic that you enjoy. Do you have pets? Or a favorite TV show? Or maybe even talk about :ff: Tell what it is. Why you have/do it. And how to do it
anything but simple Someone probably already gave you some examples, but Grey's Anatomy, Meredith asking Derek to pick her is the classic example.
Agat That's a pretty broad question. Have you tried googling it? Or looking at wikipedia or your history book? I'm not familiar with foreign policy.
oh. this is so cool. I'll deffinatley use this.
Like Presidents during the Cold War?
I say you could talk about Truman lacking diplomatic skills. He compared Stalin's plans to those of Hilter. Truman threatened to cut off economic aid to Russia but rather than give up Poland, Stalin accepted the loss of American aid. There was no war but relations between the Soviet Union and America were strained to the breaking point. Then you could talk about Kennedy being too all guts no glory. People thought he was risking too much. Kennedy said he would not permit Soviet ships transporting weapons to enter Cuban waters. People thought Kennedy has risked ultimate diaster status for us that could have been absolutely illusionary in the long run.
That would be my best stab at that answer.
so.simple I moved the thread you started to the Homework Thread. I think it belongs here.
Your project looks interesting.... you get to make a perfume ad! That's creative

I'm still in high school, but I do a combination of the aforementioned methods; I will try to take note of all of the key lesson information of the day, and later re-write the key points in a separate notebook. I also make flashcards two days before my examinations and use them quite compulsively on the days leading up to testing.
Typically, I study in my room, as I usually receive no distractions from the outside or from the rest of my house. This, however, does depend. I mean, the library is also a fantastic place to study.
When I'm reading an especially boring text, I try to picture the main points of action in my head, just for a little shot of drama. Visualization usually helps me absorb the information at a quicker rate and makes the reading a tad more enjoyable.
I hope I helped you a bit.
The best of luck on your tests!
If 30's the new 20, is 20 the new 10?
