Thread: iphone 3GS recovery mode

i have same problem here...my phone is 3.1.3 3gs 16gb after jb i run blacbra1n to unlock the phone in last stage it got stak now what to do

i use recboot but still having a dead iphone but detected in itune as a recovery mode...

i try to update but its give error masege (3194)
if anyone have an other solution or fix this problem please share with us

Use RedSn0w,Use Sn0wbreeze ,
Download 3.1.2 ipsw for your phone,
Download 3.1.3 ipsw for your phone,

Create Activated and JB 3.1.3 ipsw with sn0wbreeze .
Start redsn0w and select 3.1.2 fw and do what he tell you.
When your phone have on the screen the logo with the hard drive saying DOWNLOADING JAILBREAK DATA Disconnect it from the cable.
Close redsn0w and start your iTunes and select the ipsw created with sn0wbreeze.
If some how have an error (16xx) use iRecovery.

P.S: Use google for different parts of the tuto that you don't understand(search how to redsn0w, how to sn0wbreeze).
You can use redsn0w 0.9.4 and sn0wbreeze 1.5.2.

I have the same problem.. i mean iPhone 3GS always on recovery mode, i am unable to restore / update with any version, tried on recovery mode also on DFU mode. i am using latest version for iTunes. mostly when i am trying to restore manually i get error 28.

Please let me know if anybody has fixed such recovery mode.

brother, in my experience , you can restore now successfully to 4.1 v,
if you try with any other version , you will get the error msg
i tried in more than 5 set, i got same

agree with u, Apple has now blocked all versions except the 4.1 version must be downloaded through the latest itunes
I also experienced the same thing when menjailbreak 3:12 version with blackra1n, a recovery mode
yesterday I try to update with itunes version 9.1, I get the 3:13 version, but when verify failed, now I am again trying to update to version 4.1, hopefully successfully ..
so I guess the conclusion there is no other way other than version 4.1 update

I've tried three times to update ver 4.1, but after every update process always come out like this when connection is good : (sory can't upload jpg)
