Iphone 3g when inserting simcard it does't do anything, it does't even detect that simcard is inserted any hardware solution???

my phone worked ok for a while, then upgraded to 2.0 and unlocked, not it shows no service. i have reset network and reset all, but still no service. please help as no-one else seems to know!!

Netshare Application installed sucefully in a IPhone 3G V 2.0 00000

When I restart the IPhone and click in the NetShare application i received this msg:

The application "Netshare" cannot be opened
