Thread: the easiest way to downgrade os 4 to 3.1.3 3G n 3Gs

hi.
how can i know that shsh of my phone is on cydia server or not?
and i tried the solution but error number 3194.
any idea???

I already tried this on Win and Mac and not work cause this 3Gs doesnt have blobs on saurik's server.

its true that u can downgrade it to 3.1.3 bcause the ts did not mentioned what iphone he did i think its iphone 3g only & not 3gs one because thats what i used to downgrade my iphone 3gs you could check this out :

my dear brothers i did many sets downgraded from os 4.0 to 3.1.3 even if u don't have shsh blob & old or new boot rom. now u just have to do the folowing simple steps


Step 1: Download & install libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.12.1.zip

Step 2:
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate

im facing 3194 too ... cant downgrade to 3.1.3

installing libusb with compatable mode xp2 worked

"Step 8: Your device is normal now use original sim or onesim to activate and use spirit to jailbreak etc"

Whats the point of doing the downgrade if i need the ORIGINAL SIM?... i want to jailbreak/downgrade my iphone but im in another country, so i dont have the original sim or any other sim...

any chance to edit your ec id file with my ec id???

did you do these steps???


Step 2:
Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate “hosts” file.

Step 3: Open this “hosts” file in Notepad and add this line in the end

74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
