Thread: Real Solution To Restore 3Gs To 3.1.2 Tested & Work 10000%

This really looks like it works, but I am having no luck. I need to do a restore on my 3Gs, but can't get past the 'connect to iTunes' screen because the phone crapped out with a passcode set and there's no way to get to the keypad to disable it. Good security, huh? I've done all these steps and have gotten much farther than I have with any other method, but I keep getting the error that says something about not being able to connect to the apple server.

Any other attempts to do a typical restore only end up in a 23, 1601, and 3004 (I think) error.

Suggestions anyone?

By the way... I am no longer interested in Jailbreaking, so if there is a solution to get this restored to a factory 3.1.2 or even 3.1.3, that's fine with me! I cannot remember if I uploaded to Saurik's server

Here The Instrections
1-Put U Iphone Into Recovery Mode By Holding Home Button And Attach Cable When Phone IS Turn OFF Then Run ECID_Grabber To Get U ECID Number

Copy The ECID Number And Close ECID Grabber .
2-open Umbrella And Put The ECID Number That U Get IT From ECID Grabber


And Press Submit And Wait The Programe Will Create SHSH File Like This

Now U Will Find SHSH File In Umbrella Folder Like This (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-iphone-3.1.2.shsh) And The File Must Be 64 KB Or 66 KB
Now U Get U ECID.SHSH Copy The File And Put It
In SiNfuL iPhone U Will See Folder (ECID.SHSH) Put The File And Rename It To ECID.SHSH
Now Open SiNfuL iPhone ECID.SHSH Restore Server Tool To Make U Server To Can Restore U Iphone Without Apple

Bro !! i got an iphone 3gs here , when i turn it on it show me apple logo n turn off itself.
i try to restore it with itunes in DFU mode. but it show me this message
"the iphone could not be restored. this device isn't eligible for the request build."
what should i do now ??

It is only for people having some problem with their 3GS phones and want to restore to 3.1.2 only if saurik server has 3.1.2 SHSH for the concerning Phone,
So this is nothing to do with unlock jailbreak etc..

if we have i-phone 3gs with new boot rom 5.12 .

only sos call that solution can help us ?

That means you 3Gs have new bootrom and now there is no solution to restore 3.1.2, just wait when someone will write soft to jailbreak and unlock 3.1.3
