Thread: help me with 3gs stuck on apple logo

i have 3gs with version 3.1.3 after add blackra1n source on iphone.the phone hang and restart but only stuck in apple logo.
i tried to restore the iphone but always get error 3194
and i tried with os 4.0 too but always get error 3194
please help me to solve this problem.
i will appreciate step by step tutorial because im new with this thing.

well your 3gs seems to have new bootrom if so then you cant upgrade to nothing other than 4.0.1 from itunes and after doing that then you will have to wait on the jailbreak for iOS4.0.1 which i think will be here soon

my 3gs is old bootrom for sure
