Thread: Is your 3G slow after upgrade to OS4? Please vote.

my iphone 3G is slower than 3.1.3 before... especialy camera speed is damn slow... other than tat is fine... only not smooth as 3.1.3.... now i am going to JB... see how later,,....

Go to Settings>General>Reset
choose "Reset All Settings"

wait till reboot and feel the difference.

in 4.0 firmware the best tested by me also in 3gS

My 3G 8GB is slower after update to OS4.

Phone is slow to respond, touch screen freezes up (requiring restart to resolve), and just overall laggy. Not sure this "update" was worth it.

Iphone 3G with iOS4 jailbroken and unlocked via ultrasnow.

With Multitasking and Wallpaper enabled it was slow.

Now disabled Multitasking and Wallpaper and everything feels good. Faster then 3.12 with Wallpaper from my first impression.

JUST DO A HARD RESET!!!!
nothing else.


to FIX the SLOW performance on iPhone 3G with iOS4, just do a Hard Reset: press and hold the lock button and the home button together till the iPhone shutdown. Wait some seconds (15 +-) and then turn it on again.

do it twice.. or even more.
I had to do it 3 times.

It fixes a lot of things on iPhone and my iPhone 3G is running as fast as ever.
