1. lg-unlock.py
a baud rate of 57600 isn't supported by the bootloader ..
Hi, I need to download the script and I can't access through the blog, could you guys please give me a direct link for this?
Thanks,
Ok I have done some more reading about HyperTerminal and not seeing any typed characters is normal. I have set in the ASCII options to echo locally typed characters and now I can see the commands I am typing.
I have typed "AT" and pressed enter but nothing happens!
That means, you need RJ-45 Interface with Cable.
what is the moral of story ?
I've been trying to unlock a GB102 using the serial (RS232) port on my computer, via a DB9 extension lead (straight), connecting pins 2,3 and 5 to the gold pads on the circuit board (RX, TX and GND). The program won't go past "waiting for bootloader", and Hyperterminal shows no response.
Will the connection only work using a USB - serial adaptor cable?
but I don't see GB102 neither KP100 into the list, are EGOLD Lite based.... these are not EGOLD Lite based so...
C:\Lg>lg-unlocke.py --port COM1 --baud 128000 -e
Opening serial port...
Waiting for bootstrap loader (press ON key)...
Loading first boot stage...
dumping 2 bytes...
00000000 30 00 |0.|
1st boot stage not accepted, aborting...
C:\Lg>lg-unlocke.py --port COM1 --baud 115200 -e
Opening serial port...
Waiting for bootstrap loader (press ON key)...
Loading first boot stage...
the script works only for direct rs232 connections at TTL voltage levels. I've successfully used a pl2303 data cable which provides just that on the USB port.
Presumably, the furious box does some processing in-between the cell phone and the computer so it fails. I've had a few successful reports already for direct data cables.
I don't know the pinouts and configuration of LG data cables, but chances are high that it will work when the data cable is detected as pl2303 or ftdi or some other usb-to-serial chip.
hi my phone is LG kp100 and the imei is : 358479-02-092815-0
please could you help me unlock it?
thank you. Leonie
