Thread: FREE complete unlock solution for Samsung SGH-Z500!

Hi, thank you for this great post.
I'm having a Z500V:
firmware: FTA SW version: z500.007
hardware:FTA HW version: Rev 1.2
I'm using the usb-cable that shipped with my phone
In Easy studio the phone is shown connected. Whenever I try to use the filemanager, it says "unable to connect".
Winimei, both versions suggested in this thread, are failing to connect.
Do I need a sim in the phone?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

1- Enter code *7465625*28782# without a sim in the phone
2- Phone will display "Auto Subset Lock: Activated!"
3- Enter code *7465625*28638# without a sim again
3- Phone will display "Auto Network Lock: Activated!"
4- Now insert the sim and enjoy! Phone is Unlocked!

Is posible to be my Z500 phone damaged?

Since the first thread I made on this subject mysteriously disappeared I decided to create a new one with everything you will need to unlock your phone. A lot of people have sent me PM

im SUR IS OK just use flashing cables for LG3G that ther'is usb and com together it will detect the modem .... and do nthe rest

But these code are not working with my z500 lock to 3G Australia... when i entered the CODE the fons say ( net lock already exist) but when i put new SIM card in it says ( Wrong card .. Net lock ) any idea pleaseeeeee help
