Thread: z130 unlock problem

Has anybody sucessfully unock this phone ??

i installed the usb modem dirvers for z130. all is ok. i made the short between pin 2 and 3 of the DB female connector.
when unlocking, "serial comm - good" . and after that, windows generates error and i have to close the program. i tried on 3 computers, all 3 windows new installed ( 1 x windows 98 and 2 windows Xp ). Same error on all three computers. I am using original drivers from the phone's Cd and Original cable from the phone package. Pinout is correct.
The software i am using is "Samsung Z130 Win Imei 1.01". I redownloaded the software 5 times.
What did i do wrong? What can i do?

yes, with this winimei, but with serial cable 9v feeded

I have unlocked such a phone but on win98 using usb cable (also shorted pin 2,3 on DB)...on XP always got error and never got succusseded

me too have same problem
well, the problem is on the "properties of Samsung WCDMA Modem", if you click on diagnose , an error will appear, windows can't communicate with modem

tested on 2 PC's , i think it's driver problem
