Thread: z300 and z500 unlock

searching here in the forum i found out that i maybe can unlock z300 or z500 with winimei for z105 and the original samsung usb cable. but do i have to change my usb cable? the winimei can't detect the port com4 where the modem is installed....any sugestions??? help please

try uping the com to 7 and you need to make the little 9 pin conector aswell as original usb cable

There used to be a whole thread about how to unlock the z500.... Someone deleted it though... Pretty stupid thing to do since we had gone over most issues people would have when unlocking the z500's there. Guess we're gonna have to do it all over again

well guys i have found the solution....after connecting the usb cable i have to make a little trick in the port com1...i haved join the pin 2 and 3 of the com and then winimei detected the phone very well and i have it unlocked a z300 and z500 with the winimei for z105.... hope this can help anyone....

There is absolutly no need to connect the green wire from the usb cable to the pin2 and pin3 (Rx to Tx) loop. Just make the loop on com1 and leave the usb cable alone and untouched.

Z105 Cable conector is diferent from z300 conector. Tomas something is wrong in this... Pliz tell me something
