Thread: c55 v18 dead after A50_C55 unlocker.rar

I try today to unlock C55 v18, lg6 (phone have blue led on display)

I use A50_C55 unlocker.rar

Before unlock I make buckup of eeprom !!!! good work

After unlock, phone say bzzzz, 2 sec !

I try write original eeprom with "Siemens A50 & C55 Wizard. Version 4.00", but after 33% I get message

Verification failed: Buffer (D6DA20D6) and flash (6824AF5F)

Cancel - Retry - Ignore

Is it possible to reanimate this phone, because I have original eeprom file !

I had same prob...

Solder test point resistor back, flash phone with winswup, then put back original eeprom and u have it alive again...

And don't use same unlocker on that type of phone

Simlock zoneis not in eeprom, it is in flash...

It' s really strange flash IC that cannot be recognized by winswup!!!
Now we know the flash ID =002c0017. Can you tell me what is written at the flash IC to check if it is correct.
If winswup can't write this type of flash then all the software can't write this flash type till now.Then try to find the newest winswup or wait for new bootloaders

If is this help you, I can flash this type IC FW206 with winswup,
but when try flashing without resistor with Unisiemens, selection C30, with loaders for C55 , after that, winswup, get me only FFFFF

WHat about that prog? Some people says that work fine
for version V21 for C55, and for A50 V10?

try fullflash with wizzard.
then write imei( with wizzard or other tool that can recalculate simlock zones).
if flash ID FFFF and winswup can't flash it's not a sowtware problem

Curently F640 flashes with these flash IDs are not supported by any software: micron 2c0017 and intel 890017.
For now it is known only for C55 with this types of flash.
So if you have one these phones do not try to unlock.
Solution will be soon
